Description

This barn, located approximately 8 metres north of Godfrey's Farmhouse, is likely from the 16th century, with repairs made in the 18th century. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof that extends outwards, including two midstreys at the rear. The road-facing side has two double vertically boarded doors. The walls are supported by halved arch braces, with some arched braces and hanging knees connecting to the tie beams. The roof is constructed with queen struts.
