GREAT SAMPFORD TINDON END 1. 5222 TL 6235 40/1327 Barn approx 25 metres North East of Gifford's Farmhouse II

GV Barn. Early C17. C19 weatherboard over timber frame set on brick plinth; gabled and half-hipped corrugated asbestos roof. 5-bay plan with rear aisle and midstrey to central threshing floor. Strap hinges to C19 plank double doors and loft door. Interior: arch bracing from jowled posts to arcade plates and tie beams; diagonal wall bracing; collar-truss roof with queen struts and windbracing.
