Description

This barn, located north of North Hall Farmhouse, dates to the late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, clad in plaster and weatherboard, and has a half-hipped corrugated asbestos roof with a catslide to the rear. The barn follows a three-bay plan, including a central threshing floor and a rear aisle. It features plank double doors. Internally, the timber frame is exposed, showing side girths, curved bracing from jowled posts to tie beams and arcade plates, and a common-rafter roof with clasped purlins.
