Description
Mill House and Mill Cottage, originally known as Quendon Cottage, is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating to around 1640, with later additions probably from the 18th century. The house is two storeys high. The main central block has a projecting upper storey, along the lower edge of which is a plaster band with leaf ornamentation. The central section has two windows, and the additions to the north and south have one window each; these are small, 2 and 3-light leaded casements. The house has boarded doors. The roofs are tiled, with half-hipped ends at the north and south, and a central square chimney stack to the centre block, and an external chimney at the north end.
