Description
Byeball's Farmhouse is an early 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, featuring a later addition on the west and further 18th to 19th century additions on the south, which are constructed in weather-boarding and topped with a pantiled roof that includes a gabled dormer. The main block consists of two storeys, with the upper storey jettied at the front, supported by curved brackets. It has a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and features an original central chimney stack with cruciform shafts set diagonally on a square base. Originally, the house was moated, but only traces of the moat remain.
