Description

Gifford's Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Great Sampford, Tindon End. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring 19th-century casement windows with Gothic arched top panes. The roof is tiled and includes an original central chimney stack that has four attached shafts, which have been rebuilt and are set diagonally. A plaster panel at the base of the chimney displays the date 1626.
