Little Renters Farmhouse

Little Renters Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with an earlier core. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with some areas of plastered brick facing. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and there are red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The building has two storeys and a three-window range of 20th-century square leaded casements with transoms, along with bays on the ground floor. A central glazed gabled porch with a half-glazed door adds to its character. Inside, some medieval timber framing is exposed, along with 17th-century bracing in the walls. There is a carved storey post and a stop-chamfered beam that has been sourced from elsewhere. The staircase features stick balusters, and there is panelling underneath.
