Description
Bound's Farmhouse is a house with origins dating back to the 16th or 17th century, featuring a front range built in the 18th or 19th century from red brick. The rear wings are timber framed and plastered. The roof is hipped and covered with red plain tiles, and there are red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The building has a moulded eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall. It has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes set under segmental arches. There are two S tie plates visible. A set of semi-circular steps leads up to the six-panelled door, which is flanked by sidelights and has lights above. The door is supported by columns with capitals and bases, which hold up a flat canopy. The rear wings are gabled.
