Description
Fountain Farmhouse is a house with a 17th century rear wing and an early 19th century front range. It is constructed of red brick and features red plain tiled roofs. The building has red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides, and barge boards adorn the return gables. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range of tripartite paned vertically sliding sash windows, which have gauged brick arches, except for a central round-headed window on the first floor. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with reveal panels, a moulded surround, a frieze, and a flat canopy supported by brackets. Some 17th century timber framing is visible in the rear range.
