Description
Vaulty Manor is a house incorporating a 17th-century or earlier rear wing and an early 19th-century front range. The rear wings are timber-framed and plastered with red tiled roofs, while the front range is of red brick with a hipped grey slate roof. Rectangular red brick chimney stacks are present on the right and left sides. The front range has two storeys and a three-window front with small-paned vertically sliding sash windows in moulded surrounds. A central four-panelled door has two lights and is sheltered by a flat porch supported by columns with moulded bases and capitals. Some original timber framing is visible on the rear wings. At the rear are a former dairy and bakehouse; the dairy retains a herringbone brick floor.
