Description
Hillhouse Farmhouse is a house dating to the 18th and 19th centuries, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of red brick with black headers and has a red plain tiled roof. The rear features a wing. The main part of the house is two storeys and has a central band. The front elevation has a three-window range of tripartite small-paned vertically sliding sash windows, each with a gauged brick arch. A single light window is centrally positioned on the first floor. The central doorway is a four-panel design with two lights above, and is sheltered by a flat canopy supported by two columns and two pilasters, complete with capitals and bases.
