Description
Spring Valley Mill House is a mill house that dates from the 17th or 18th century, with later alterations and additions. It has a timber frame and a weatherboarded first floor, while the ground floor is plastered. The roof is red tiled, raised, and hipped, featuring a gablet on the right side. There are two red brick chimney stacks located at the rear left and a forward right position. The building has two storeys, with three windows on the first floor arranged in a 3:1 pattern and two windows on the ground floor in a 3:2 pattern. The three left windows on both floors are small paned vertically sliding sashes, while the others are small paned vari-light casements. To the left, there is a gabled porch that contains a 20th-century six-panel door with a moulded surround.
