Description

Numbers 2, 3, and 4 (Godsafe) is a mid-16th century building designed in a T-plan with a cross-wing at the south that features a jettied design. The structure is two storeys high and has an exposed timber frame with a ridged, hipped, and gabled roof covered in peg tiles. A red brick chimney stack with four shafts is located at the south end. The cross-wing includes a 19th-century oriel window on the first storey and four matching casement windows on the ground storey. The corner posts are jowled, the walls are side-girt, and there is no wind bracing on the outer faces.
