Description
Gifford's Farmhouse is a 16th century timber-framed house, primarily covered in weatherboarding with some areas of plaster. It is designed in a T-shaped plan with a cross wing at the north end and stands two storeys high. The windows are 20th century casements. The upper storey of the cross wing features a jettied design on exposed beams, above a small original bay window with four lights and moulded mullions. At the north end of the house, there is a large projecting chimney stack made of red brick, which has two offsets. The roof is tiled.
