Description

Hill House is a notable 16th-century timber-framed house featuring exposed timber-framing and plaster infill. The building has cross wings at both the east and west ends, which are jettied on the upper storey. It stands two storeys tall and has casement windows with leaded lights, with some original window openings having been restored. The roof is tiled and includes a central original chimney stack with two diagonally set shafts, as well as external chimney stacks on the cross wings that have two octagonal shafts.
