Description

Waltham House is an 18th-century red brick house featuring a main block with a parapet. The northwest front has two side wings that project to the northwest. The house is mainly two storeys tall, with the main block also having attics. Both the main block and the wings have a five-window range and a two-window range, respectively, with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars set in plain reveals. There are raised brick bands running between the storeys and at the parapet level on the northwest front. The roofs are tiled, with the main block having a double-pitched roof that is hipped on the southeast front and on the wings. Inside, there is a panelled staircase hall, a notable Queen Anne room with ornamental plasterwork, and an 18th-century fireplace.
