Description

Thatches is a timber-framed and plastered house that dates back to the 15th century. Originally, it featured a central hall with cross wings, but it was altered in the 17th century and later, resulting in the entire building now being covered by a single roof. The house has two storeys and includes a single-storey L-shaped wing at the south end. It has three windows, which are casements with leaded lights. At the south end, there is a gabled porch. The roof is thatched. Thatches, Lucks Cottage, and Tudor House form a group.
