Rowney Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 17th century. It has been renovated and altered over time. The cottage is one storey high with attics and features modern casement windows with leaded lights. The roof is thatched and includes three dormers, one of which is gabled, along with an external chimney stack located at the west end.
