Description

Howlett Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 17th to 18th century. It has been renovated and stands one storey high with attics. The front features a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A modern gabled porch extends from the front. The roof is tiled and half hipped at both the east and west ends, and it includes two gabled dormers, one of which previously displayed the date 1799.
