Description

Rowney Corner Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. It has gabled cross wings projecting at the north and south ends, with the upper storey of the front jettied. The wings were formerly jettied at the rear but have since been underbuilt. The house is two storeys high and has casement windows. The roof is tiled, and features an original central chimney stack with diagonal shafts, which has been rebuilt or restored.
