Description

Ford Hall is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, located in Long Melford. The house features a cross wing at its west end and a later addition to the east. It is two storeys high. The upper storey has a jettied front supported by curved brackets, some of which retain traces of moulded capitals. The facade is arranged with a three-window range, featuring casement windows with leaded lights on the upper floor. The cross wing incorporates an original window with diamond mullions, which has been blocked. The roof is tiled.
