Description

Lowleys Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house originating from the 17th century, which has undergone significant alterations and renovations. The building stands two storeys high and features later additions at the rear. It has 20th-century casement windows and a gabled wing on the east side that includes a jettied upper storey. The roof is tiled and has an original central chimney stack with three diagonally set shafts. Inside, there are areas of exposed timber framing, as well as ceiling beams and joists.
