Description

Barley Hill is a 15th-century timber-framed building featuring a jettied upper storey at the front and a later gabled wing at the south end. The timber-framing is exposed and filled with plaster. The building has two storeys and is fitted with casement windows that have lattice leaded lights. A modern gabled porch, designed in a style that matches the period, projects from the front. The roof is tiled and includes an external chimney stack on the north wing, which has two diagonally set shafts that have been rebuilt.
