Description

No 13 Churchgate Street is a house dating from around 1600. It has a timber-framed and plastered structure with a parapet and a ridged, hipped roof covered in peg tiles. A red brick chimney stack is located on the return at the southwest corner. The building features a semi-hexagonal bay window that rises two storeys, with three small-paned sash windows on each storey, all in exposed boxes. On the first storey at the north side, there is a tripartite sash window above a door on the ground storey, which combines two windows that match the width of the window above.
