Description

No 9 Church Green is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has a timber frame resting on a flint sill that has been partly renewed in red brick, with white plastered infill in the frame. The house features steep old red tile roofs and is L-shaped, with one and a half storeys. It faces north and has a two-cell front range with a heightened service bay on the west side beyond the chimney. The entrance is now into a lobby by the stack. At the rear, there is a gabled wing. The house has two windows with two gabled dormers at the eaves above, and it features two-light flush small paned casement windows.
