Description

Thatched Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and has roughcast rendering with a thatched roof. The building has three bays aligned northeast to southwest, featuring an axial chimney stack in the middle bay that creates a lobby entrance. There is a lean-to extension at the rear. The cottage is single storey with attics and includes a plain boarded door with a shallow hood, two 20th-century casement windows, and two eyebrow dormers with 20th-century casement windows. It forms a group with Burnett Cottage to the southwest.
