Description
Greencroft is a block of cottages from the early 19th century that has been converted into one house and extended in the 20th century. The building is timber framed, plastered, and has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. It is oriented approximately north-south, facing east, and features two axial chimney stacks. There is a lean-to extension at the rear from the 19th century and a crosswing at the southern end with an external chimney stack on the south wall, added around 1972. The structure is two storeys high and includes a 20th-century six-panel door, a one-bay window with casements and a sheet metal roof from the 20th century, as well as five 20th-century casement windows on both the ground and first floors. The building is listed for its group value.
