Description

Burnett Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that features a timber frame and roughcast render, with a roof made of corrugated iron. Originally constructed as a southwest extension to Thatched Cottage, it extends backwards to form an L-shaped plan and was later divided into a separate cottage. The building has two storeys, with a ground floor that includes a 20th-century casement window and a plain boarded door with a shallow hood dating from the early 19th century. On the first floor, there is one 20th-century casement window. Burnett Cottage is listed for its group value with Thatched Cottage.
