Description
Wellington Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room layout with a central stack, creating a lobby entrance that faces northwest. At the back, there is a single-storey lean-to extension from the 19th century, which is roofed with corrugated iron. The building is one storey high with attics and features a two-window range of 20th-century casements, with the upper windows set in eyebrow dormers. There is also a 19th-century half-glazed door, and the roof is half-hipped at both ends.
