Description

Willow Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and has a roughcast rendered exterior with a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays facing southwest and features a central stack. There is a single-storey extension added to the left end in the 20th century. The building is one storey with attics and includes two 19th-century horizontally sliding sash windows, each with 12 lights. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door. The roof is gambrel in style and half-hipped at both ends. The hardwood frame includes Roman numerals on the studs, arranged in true sequence.
