Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, situated in Matching Green. The cottages are timber-framed with a roof covered in handmade red clay tiles. They have one axial chimney stack positioned near the middle and another on the west side of the ridge. The structure is single-storey with attics. The front features two plain boarded doors with shallow hoods, likely dating from the early 19th century, and three 20th-century casement windows. There are also three additional windows within flat-roofed dormers. The gables are clad in vertical tile-hanging. Originally known as 'The Cherry Tree' beer-house.
