Description

Brook Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, and possibly earlier. It features roughcast walls, likely made of cob, and has a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, with an outshot at the front and one end. The front of the cottage has a plank door in a solid frame located to the left of the center. Each bay contains two-light casement windows, and there is a high-set two-light eyebrow dormer in the center. The roof slopes down towards the front and the right-hand end, and there is a chimney stack at the left-hand end. Additionally, there is a casement window in the outshot on the right-hand side.
