Description

This is an 18th-century house, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill, and has additions and a thatched roof. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high, originally consisting of three bays and a smoke bay, with an outshot bay at one end. A six-panel flush door is located to the right of the centre. There are two-light casement windows to the right, similar windows in the outshot bay and the left-hand bay. A three-light casement window is in the left-hand centre bay. Large hipped half-timbered porches with three-light casement windows are on each side of the door. The roof is hipped, sweeping down to the right, and has a large ridge stack above the door and a stack at the right-hand end.
