Description
The Woolpack is an inn dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick, painted at the front, with a thatched roof and a plain tile roof on the rear ranges. The building is two stories high and has four bays, featuring a lower outshot to one end and a taller wing at the other end. The front includes a 19th-century gabled timber and tile porch, which is situated under a plank lean-to. To the right-hand side and between the left-hand bays, there is a three-light casement window. On the first floor, there are two-light casement windows, except for the area above the door. The roof is hipped, with a ridge stack positioned above the door.
