Description
The lodge at the entrance to Moorlands Bible College was built in 1868. It is constructed of red brick with white stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has an irregular plan and is gabled with a corner turret. There is a single-storey porch at the corner, situated between the turret and the side of the building, which has a Tudor arch. The porch includes an elaborate iron door and a balcony above with an iron railing. The lodge is generally two storeys high and has two bays, with casement windows that have glazing bars and jalousies. There is a square bay on the ground floor at the side. A monogram is displayed on a plain stone shield on the turret. The lodge, along with the gate, gate piers, lamp, and railed wall, forms a group with the milestone located opposite.
