Description
East Lodge is a lodge built around 1913. It is constructed of ashlar stone with herringbone tooling and has a plain tile roof featuring shaped tile bands and coped verges on shaped kneelers, along with an ashlar central stack. The building has a T-shaped plan, oriented east-west and facing north. It is one storey with an attic and includes a storey band. The lodge has three bays, with a central projecting gabled porch. The windows have chamfered mullions; the ground floor windows on the left and right each have two lights, while the central ground floor window has five lights, and the first floor centre window has three lights. There are small wooden verandahs to the left and right of the central porch, and a door is located on the left-hand return. East Lodge was previously associated with Moorcourt.
