Description
Keeper's Cottage and the attached stable, located on Farley Road in Oakamoor, date back to the 18th century and have undergone later alterations. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a plain tile roof with coped verges and an ashlar integral end stack. The structure is aligned east-west, facing south, with the stable attached to the west on the same alignment. The house is situated to the right and is slightly higher than the stable on the left. The house has two storeys and three bays, with two-light chamfered mullioned windows. There is a 20th-century door to the left, which has a concrete lintel. The stable features a door to the right and a casement window to the left.
