Description
Upper Moor Lodge is a lodge built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has an L-plan layout and is designed in the Tudor Gothic style, consisting of one storey and an attic with cross gables at the corner.
On the entrance front, there is a single light casement window to the left, and to the right, a gable with plain barge boards that includes a 2-light casement window for the attic. There is also a ground floor cross window to the right and a central gabled porch with a Tudor arch opening. All the windows have square labels. Additionally, there is an angled bay window on the right return front. The lodge was associated with the Moor, which has since been demolished.
