Description
Cooper's Hall is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble and features a slate roof. The building has a three-room plan with a central staircase and stands two storeys tall, with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. The front facade includes five flush plate glass sash windows from the mid-19th century. The ground floor has a central entrance flanked by four plate glass sashes, all set beneath wedge lintels. A central wooden porch, also from the mid-19th century, has a shallow pitched roof and a segmental-headed opening, with a six-panel door where the middle two panels are glazed. On the rear elevation, there is a stair light with an ogee head and Gothick glazing. Inside, there is an open stairwell featuring a ramped handrail, open string, and turned balusters.
