Description

This is a disused bridge located parallel to Newport Street in Hay on Wye. It was built in the early 19th century and may have been altered later by surveyor John Gethin. The structure is made of rubble with ashlar dressings. It features an elliptical arch with a keystone and a plain band above. The parapet has been raised in rubble and capped with concrete, likely in the early 20th century.
