Description
Lower Moor Lodge is a lodge built in the mid-19th century. It features painted rubble and a stone slate roof, with one storey and an attic. The building has a T-plan layout, with the stem slightly off-centre to the left and designed in the Tudor Gothic style. A gabled wing projects from the centre, with an external stack to the right that has a diamond shaft. To the left, there is a rustic verandah under a cat-slide roof along the side of the projecting wing, with a door located at the rear. The gable of the projecting wing has shaped barge boards, and the attic is lit by a single Tudor-arched casement beneath a square label. The ground floor features a window with five trefoiled lights, also under a square label. This lodge was originally associated with The Moor in Clifford, which has since been demolished.
