Description

This is a 17th-century house, altered and extended in the mid-19th century. The house is timber-framed, with the ground storey refaced in whitewashed brick and parts of the first floor painted roughcast. It has a thatched roof, hipped to the left-hand side. A central chimney has been removed. The upper floor has three bays of two-light wooden casement windows. A modern glazed porch sits on the ground floor, alongside a three-light casement window to the left and two- and three-light casements to the right. The right-hand bay is a mid-19th-century addition, constructed of whitewashed brick with a slate roof and a rendered end stack. This section has two storeys over a basement and contains a single bay of four-pane sash windows with segmental arched heads.
