Description

This is a group of farm buildings located to the southwest of Moat Farmhouse, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The small barn at the northwest end features exposed timber framing with modern brick infill and leaded casement windows, topped with a tiled roof. Inside, it has two bays and a central truss with curved queenposts. The cowshed, built in the 19th century, is made of brick with a slate roof and connects the barn to the bullpen. The bullpen, from the 18th century, is timber framed with red brick infill and has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, also featuring a queenpost truss inside. These buildings are included for their group value.
