Description

The gateway and boundary wall to the School House and Church Hall is a lych-gate type structure built in 1862, likely designed by George Devey. The gateway features oak framed sides with curved braces and a hipped tiled roof, along with a low oak gate. The flanking wall is approximately 1 meter high, constructed of brick with a steeply weathered projecting brick coping, and it ramps up in a curve at the southern end. This structure is included for its group value.
