Description

This is a 17th-century house, altered in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and underbuilt in brick, with a rendered exterior and a thatched roof. A single brick axial stack rises from the centre of the roof. At each end of the house are single-story extensions with slate roofs and tall wall stacks. The main front is a single-and-a-half-story, five-bay design. A half-glazed door is positioned off-centre, with a 19th-century gabled wooden open porch in front. To the left of the door are two 3-light windows with glazing bars, and to the right are two 2-light windows with glazing bars. Three eyebrow dormers extend through the eaves of the thatched roof, each with 20th-century 2-light casements.
