Description

This is a 17th-century house located on the south side of Main Street in Stretton Under Fosse. The house is timber-framed with plaster and brick infill, and has a thatched roof with a brick stack positioned on the ridge. It is one storey high with an attic, and has a three-window front. A 20th-century door is set within a 20th-century timber and thatch porch. The windows are largely 19th-century two-light casements, with a 20th-century casement to the left and another in a central dormer. There are 20th-century extensions to the left. The interior retains most of the original timber framing, including chamfered beams to the ground storey and the original roof structure. An open fireplace is also present.
