Description
Ivy House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a Welsh slate roof, along with two gable stacks and a single ridge stack that have dentillated tops. The building has a two-storey, four-bay front. The entrance is off-center and consists of a six-panelled door with a traceried overlight, set within a plain pilastered surround topped with an open dentillated cornice. To the left of the door is a single tall three-light leaded casement window, while to the right are a pair of similar windows, both with segmental brick arched heads. On the first floor, there are four smaller windows of the same style located at the eaves.
