Description
The pigeoncote at Number 32, dating from the 17th century with 19th-century alterations, is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with burnt headers. It features a Swithland slate plinth and a Swithland slate roof. The structure has a square plan with four gables and is three storeys high with a two-bay front that includes a first-floor string course. On the ground floor, there is a planked door and a planked opening, while above, there is another single door and a fixed two-light window in the gable. All openings have segmental brick heads. The upper floors contain continuous rows of nesting boxes on the inner wall, with brick perches supported on dogtoothed corbels. The roof is made of softwood and dates from the 19th century.
