Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring rubbed brick dressings, a brick cornice with modillions, and a slate roof with reduced gable stacks. The building is in an L-shape and has a three-storey, three-bay front with a central arched recess that extends through all three storeys. The entrance consists of a central six-panelled door topped by a traceried radial fanlight set in a semicircular headed opening, flanked by two 20th-century three-light casement windows. On the first floor, there is a similar two-light casement window flanked by matching three-light casements. The second floor features a central lunette with intersecting glazing bars, flanked by smaller three-light glazing bar casements. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey wing that is positioned at right angles to the main house.
