Description

Moor Lodge is an 18th-century house, altered in the mid-19th century. It is timber-framed and clad in weatherboarding, with a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys high, featuring paired modillion eaves cornices to a hipped roof with chimney stacks located towards the rear left and the end right. The fenestration is regular, with two two-storey canted bays containing sashes. There is a central sash window on the first floor. The front door consists of six panels, the top two being glazed, within a pilaster and cornice surround, which is currently heavily overgrown. To the right, a wreathed-boarded pentice shelters a boarded door, leading to a gabled outhouse. The outhouse is also weather-boarded and has wooden casement windows and a chimney stack.
